Full House

Full House TV Show

Full House was a very popular comedy series that ran from 1987 to 1995 on ABC.  Although the show got off to a slow start, by the early 1990’s, it was in the top 10 as far as the Nielsen ratings went.  Even though in its final season it still ranked in the top 25, ABC decided to pull it as many of the characters were ready to move on.  The show starred John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis, Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone, Candace Cameron as D.J. Tanner, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle Tanner.  Big fans of the show are probably aware of the entire Full House book series, which follows the lives of the girls.

The show was about talk show host Danny Tanner (Saget) and his three little girls (D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle).  After his wife is killed in a car accident, Danny enlists the help of rocker brother-in-law Jesse (Stamos), and his comedian friend Joey (Coulier), to move in and help out with raising the girls.  As time rolls on, the unlikely group becomes a close knit family unit as they deal with common, and sometimes not so common, familial issues.  It is worth noting that around 2015, the show was re-booted, with most of the original cast returning for another go.
