Jillson was a metal band created by Don Jillson in the late 1980’s. The band has been described by others as a melodic metal band, and although we agree with that to a certain extent, we would describe the band, with their use of keyboards and raw vocals, as having a sound more closely related to something that might have come out of the early 1980’s on some of their songs (like Helix or Krokus).
After Jillson broke up, Don Jillson changed this stage name to Tommy Paris and joined the band Britny Fox. Other members also went onto other projects. We really liked this band and find it a shame that they did not have a chance to make any more albums. The Jillson Discography is as follows:
