Marty Friedman Hair Metal Band

Marty Friedman was an 80’s neo-classical guitarist who had both a solo career and a career along other artists such as Jason Becker (Cacophony) and Ken Tamplin (Shout).  In 1988, Friedman released his first solo album called Dragon’s Kiss.  This album, along with a number of other albums, were instrumental (no vocals) and really demonstrated his skill on guitar.  

From 1990 to 1999, Friedman was the guitarist for the band Megadeth while he continued his solo career.  Given the type of music Megadeth played, fans of the late 80’s Friedman were likely surprised at the non-metal releases Scenes (1992) and Introduction (1994).  As the years rolled on, Friedman switched back to his metal roots.  By the time the 2000’s rolled around, Friedman’s musical style was a cross between his neo-classical days and thrash.  The Marty Friedman Discography is as follows:
