Sacred Warrior Christian Metal Band

As we've said before here at www.ilovethe80s.com, we are big Christian metal fans.  Sacred Warrior, with their Queensryche like sound, was one of those Christian bands that we really enjoyed.  The roots of Sacred Warrior date back to 1985 (Chicago land), where some future band members were part of a band called Nomad.  By 1988, guitarist Bruce Swift had converted to Christianity, and subsequently was able to convert fellow bandmates as well, thus the birth of Sacred Warrior.

Their first release, Rebellion, was released in 1988, and is considered by some to be the band's magnum opus.  Master's Command followed in 1989, and Wicked Generation in 1990.  The band continued releasing into the 1990's, but took a hiatus until a reunion show in 2001 that was recorded and released (Live at the Cornerstone 2001).  Sacred Warrior reformed in 2008 and, at the time of this writing, was working on a new release, which the band says will be one of the hardest releases to date.  At the time of this writing, the Sacred Warrior Discography is as follows:
