Saigon Kick Hair Metal Band

Saigon Kick was a band that formed in 1988 in Miami, FL.  By 1990, they had garnered enough local buzz to catch the attention of Third Stone Records, who signed them to a deal in 1990.  The band's first release (self-titled) hit shelves in 1991.  Although Saigon Kick toured extensively to support the album, it was not a success.  It was their second release, the Lizard (1992), which was their magnum opus.  It was this album that featured the songs "Love Is on the Way" (charted at no. 9 on the US Main Top 40) and "All I Want" (charted at no. 15 on the U.S. Main Rock charts).  Needless to say, both of these songs were ballads.

Amidst turmoil within the band, vocalist Matt Kramer left the band, and then the album Water was released in 1993.  Sales were lackluster, and Atlantic decided to drop them.  After finding another label, Saigon Kick continued to produce, however they were never able to regain the popularity of the Lizard.  Saigon Kick would later reunite with Matt Kramer and continue touring well into the 2010's.  At the time of this writing, the Saigon Kick Discography was as follows:
