Sic Vikki was a glam metal band from Philadelphia with roots back to the mid 1980's.  Sic Vikki was a popular club act in Philadelphia during the height of metal, wearing glam outfits, pumping up the audience, and generally having a good time while doing it.  Eventually, the band caught the eye of Autograph's vocalist, Steve Plunkett, who would go on to produce the band.  Sic Vikki released their debut album in 1993.  It was a well-polished album and underrated (in our opinion).  However, in 1993, that was not enough to stay in business if you were a new metal band.

Sic Vikki's second album was more closely matched to the grunge sound that was growing in popularity and very, very different from their previous release (comparable to the Gin Blossoms).  Given that hair metal is our thing, we recommend you stick with their debut.  Sic Vikki was still active in the 2010's as far as we know playing various clubs in Philly and New Jersey.  The Sic Vikki Discography is as follows:
