Wikked Gypsy was a sleaze metal band that was popular on the Sunset Strip in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, but they never landed a record deal. They were a popular draw at places like the Whiskey a Go Go and the Roxy. Wikked Gypsy released a demo in 1990.
With plans to make it big, of course they had their own recorded material. In addition to the songs on the EP, such as “Glass Houses” and “City Groans”, 19 years later, their album debut, Bed of Flesh, was finally released on Demon Doll Records (including some bonus tracks). We would describe the band as a cross between Poison and Vain. The Wikked Gypsy Discography is as follows:
