Winter Rose was a Canadian metal band that started in the late 1980’s in Toronto.  They created several demos that were recorded in the late 1980’s but not released until the 1990’s, from what we understand, but still credited as a 1989 release from our perspective.  We feature the band here mostly due to the fact that Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) was one of the vocalists.  The other was James LaBrie, who would later become the vocalist for Dream Theatre.  It is said that Bach’s vocals on the song “Saved by Love” is what prompted Skid Row to offer him a gig as their vocalist.

Winter Rose did not last long.  If you are a fan of Sebastian Bach’s and James LaBrie’s voices, and you like melodic metal, then Winter Rose is a good choice for you.  In our humble opinion, it really is a pretty good album.  The Winter Rose Discography is as follows:
