Bryan Adams Band

Bryan Adams was born in Canada to British parents.  His father was a diplomat, so Bryan spent a greater majority of his early years traveling the globe.  In his teens, Adams started as a guitar player, but landed the job as vocalist with the band Sweeney Todd, who released an album in 1976, called If Wishes Were Horses, with a 15 year old Bryan Adams on vocals.  In 1978, Adams was signed by A&M records as a solo artist for the sum of one dollar.  Some of his early hits, including "Cuts Like A Knife" and "Straight from the Heart" were recorded during his demo days with A&M.

Bryan Adams' first release hit the shelves in 1980 (self-titled).  His second release, You Want it You Got It, featured the hit song "Lonely Nights".  It wasn't until his third release, Cuts Like A knife in 1984, that Bryan Adams began hitting the big time.  "Straight from the Heart" and the title track "Cuts Like a Knife" were both hits from this album.  By this time, Adams begin receiving heavy rotation on MTV, so by the time Reckless was released in 1984, it was no wonder why it was his most successful release (it peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Top 200).  There were a number of hit songs from this album, including  "Run to You", "Summer of '69", "Heaven", "One Night Love Affair", "Somebody", and "It's Only Love".  Into the Fire, which was Bryan's 1987 release, did not do nearly as well as Reckless, but still brought us the hits "Heat of the Night" and "Hearts of Fire".

In 1991, Bryan Adams released the album Waking up the Neighbours.  This album peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Top 200.  Many of you will remember the song "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" from this album, that stayed a number one hit for 16 weeks.  Other songs from this album that made the charts included "Do I Have to Say the Words", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", and "Thought I Died and Gone to Heaven".  As the years have rolled on, their have been other notable songs by Bryan Adams, including "Please Forgive Me", "All for Love", "Have You Really Loved a Woman", and many more.

Because there have been so many great Bryan Adams hits over the years, you might consider the  Byran Adam's Anthology.  At the time of this writing in 2012, Adams could still be found on stage and in the studio.  Bryan is also known as an accomplished photographer and philanthropist.  The Bryan Adams Discography is as follows:
