Red Rider Band

Red Rider was a Canadian rock band that formed in the late 1970's.  They landed a deal with Capitol Records and released their first album in 1979 (Don't Fight It).  Although they received their greatest success in Canada, they did have some success in the USA.  Some of you may remember the hit song "Lunatic Fringe", which was released on their second album (As Far as Siam, 1981).  This song received some decent air time on MTV and ultimately charted at 11 on the US Main rock charts.

Red Rider continued releasing throughout the 1980's.  Other songs those of us in the USA may remember include "Human Race", "Power (Strength in Numbers)", "Boy Inside the Man", and "Big League".  Canadians will also remember Red Rider for songs like "White Hot" and "Good Times".  By the mid 80's, the band had changed their name to Tom Cochrane & Red Rider.  At the time of this writing in 2016, Red Rider was still known to be active.  The Red Rider Discography is as follows:
