Streets was an early to mid-80s hard rock band that featured former Kansas vocalist Steve Walsh.  Fans of Kansas songs like "Carry On Wayward Son," "Dust in the Wind", and "Point of No Return" will recognize his voice.  Walsh had been working on a solo project called Schemer-Dreamer when he decided to put together Streets.  They released their first (titled 1st) album on the Atlantic Records label in 1983.  After their second release, Crimes in Mind (1985), the band split as Walsh went back to play with Kansas.  

Fans of Steve Walsh/Kansas will probably like Streets.  Many of their songs could have easily been passed off as Kansas songs on any Kansas album post 1983, especially songs from the 1985 Streets album, which is one of our favorite albums to listen to here at ilovethe80s.com.  Steve Walsh retired from Kansas in 2014 after 41 years with the band.  The Streets Discography is as follows:
