Nerf

Nerf Pool 80's Toys

NERF (Non-Expanding Recreational Foam) was a toy brand first created by Parker Brothers in 1969 (Hasbro owns it now), and in 1970, the “world’s first official indoor ball” was released to the public.  These days, NERF has gained popularity with their series of dart guns, but back in the 70’s and 80’s, what they had to offer was a bit simpler.  As NERF’s popularity increased, so did their toy offerings.  It wasn’t long before basketball, football, ping pong, and other oddities hit store shelves.  Some of you may have owned the Nerf Hot Shot Stunt car (1981), boomerang (1983), the NERF Pool Game (1984). NERF Indoor Golf (1986), Fencing (1988), or even the Blast-A-Ball (1989).
