Bronz was a British metal band that formed in the mid 1970's. They made a name for themselves playing at U.K. festivals in the late 1970's and warming up for bands like Diamond Head and Anvil. Bronz landed a record deal in 1984 on an independent label and they quickly released their first album (Taken by Storm). This is an interesting album from a metal perspective in that the vocalist sounded like Michael Sweet of Stryper. The band came stateside and toured with Ratt in 1984.
In 1998, an album of unreleased tracks from the 1980's, titled Unfinished Business, was released. In 2010, the album Carried by the Storm was released, which was also a recording of songs from the 1980's. We recommend all three of these albums. In 2000, Bronz reformed and continued playing shows well into the 2010's.
At the time of this writing, the Bronz Discography was as follows:
- 1984: Taken by Storm
- 1998: Unfinished Business
- 2003: Bronze Live - Getting Higher
- 2010: Carried by the Storm
