Messiah Prophet was a Christian metal band that started out in the late 1970’s.  By 1984, the band had landed a record deal with a small Nashville label, and their debut album (Rock the Flock) was released in 1984.  In 1986, Messiah Prophet signed to the Pure Metal Records label, and the album Masters of the Metal was released shortly thereafter.  There were clear production improvements between these two releases.

Messiah Prophet was sort of a revolving door when it came to members of the band.  By the mid 1990’s, an entirely new line-up of members made up the band.  This new crew released the album Colors in 1996, which was poorly received by fans.  Messiah Prophet broke up shortly thereafter.  The Messiah Prophet Discography is as follows:
