Like Don Johnson, Eddie Murphy, and a handful of other actors, Bruce Willis took the stage as a singer in the 1980's. Willis was a huge star by the time the late 80's rolled around, having starred on the TV show Moonlighting and the Die Hard movie series. He grew up in New Jersey, where he was able to overcome a stuttering problem by turning to the stage. He had a number of odd jobs before becoming a full time actor, including working as a security guard and even a private investigator.
Willis released his first pop-blues album in 1987, titled The Return of Bruno, which featured two songs you may remember: "Respect Yourself" and "Under the Boardwalk". In 1989, he released the album If I Don't Kill You, It Just Makes You Stronger.
