Mr. Mister Band

The roots of Mr. Mister can be traced back to Phoenix, AZ in the late 1970's, when Richard Page and Steve George founded a band called Pages.  Pages released a couple of albums, with little success, and eventually disbanded the group and subsequently formed Mr. Mister.  While working on their own material, they kept the bills paid and the connections working by singing harmony with 80's big names like the Village People and Laura Branigan.  After adding seasoned session musicians Steve Farris (guitar) and Pat Mastelotto (drums), Mr. Mister was on their way.

Mr. Mister's first studio release, I Wear the Face (1984), was not a huge success. but their second release, Welcome to the Real World (1985), was another story all together.  This album featured three big hits:  "Broken Wings", "Kyrie", and "Is It Love".  1986 became a big year for the band, as MTV began rotating their videos, and they were nominated for two Grammy awards.  Unfortunately, their 1987 release, and final release of the 80's, Go On..., was not a successful release.  By 1989 the band had split up.  It is worth noting that Mr. Mister began working on a fourth album, called Pull, that RCA refused to release in 1990, but was eventually released in 2010.

Post Mr. Mister, members went on to other projects, including vocalist page, who started a solo career.  At the time of this writing in late 2013, there was no indication that the band would be reuniting.  The Mr. Mister Discography is as follows:
