Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat Movie Poster

Trick or Treat (1986) was a horror flick for headbangers since it featured a great score by the metal band Fastway and had brief cameos by Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne.  The movie earned approximately $7 million dollars and reception was less than positive.  Some have even ranked Trick or Treat in the top 10 of cheesiest horror movies ever made.

In this movie, Eddie Weinbauer (played by Marc Price) learns his favorite rocker, Sammi, has passed away in a freak hotel fire.  Sammi was an alumnus of Eddie's high school and had been scheduled to play at the school dance.  Soon after he heard the news, Eddie went to visit a friend of Eddie's, D.J. "Nuke" (Gene Simmons), who gives Eddie Sammi's very last album.  Eddie learns he can conjure up the rocker's soul by playing the album backwards.  After enlisting Sammi's help to even the score with some of Eddie's old enemies, Sammi starts getting out of control.  Eddie must then go about the business of stopping Sammi from hatching his evil plan to kill high school dance attendees.  In the end, Eddie manages to put an end to the evil Sammi.
