M.A.S.K. Mobile Armored Strike Kommand 80's Toys

What was M.A.S.K. an acronym for?  Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, of course.  The entire premise was created by Kenner and launched in 1985, with not only a toy line, but also a cartoon, comics, and video games.  The premise of the cartoon was essentially the battle between the good guys (M.A.S.K.) and the bad guys (V.E.N.O.M. = Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem).  The M.A.S.K. group was led by Matt Trakker, and V.E.N.O.M. was led by Miles Mayhem.

Kenner released four series of M.A.S.K. action figures and the most common vehicles from the cartoon.  The vehicles would transform into battle ready machines (Skybolt, Outlaw, Raven, Iguana, Wolfbeast, Razorback, Goliath, etc.), and each would typically come with two action figures, each with a special face mask.  The first two series were war based, and the last two were more of a racing theme between M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M.
