Archie Bunker's Place
Archie Bunker's Place was a spin-off continuation of the popular 70's sitcom All in the Family. It ran from 1979 to 1983 on CBS. It can be argues that the show's name was simply changed from "All in the Family" to "Archie Bunker's Place." Although the show did not do as well as its predecessor, it was still very popular. Carroll O' Connor played the role of Archie Bunker and Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker.
In this spin off, Archie buys Kelsey's Place (his favorite hangout), which he then names "Archie's Place." Although some of the show was filmed in the Bunker's original home, most of the action took place in the club. Archie went into to business with a Jewish name Murray, and the club/restaurant was the background for the goings on of patrons who Archie would use to bounce his politically conservative ideas off of.
