Benny Hill Show, The
The Benny Hill Show was a British comedy that ran in various forms from 1955 to 1989 on BBC1. Although this sketch-comedy show was probably more popular in the UK than in the USA, there were still plenty of fans in the states. Even the theme song, "Yakety Sax", has a cult following.
This show was geared much more to the male audience than to the female audience, with plenty of well-endowed women bouncing around on the screen. The show was a series of slapstick, double entendre, and parody. Many of the skits would end with Benny being chased away by a group of scantily clad women. Other than Benny, other supporting cast members included Henry McGee, Jon Jon Keefe, Nicholas Parsons, Bob Todd, and Jackie Wright.
