Aldo Nova, real name Aldo Caporuscio, is best known for his self-titled release (1981) that featured the classic rock songs "Fantasy" and "Foolin' Yourself." Some of you may remember the song "Monkey on Your Back" from the 1983 release, Subject. "Fantasy" actually made it to #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 way back in 1981.
Throughout the 80's, Aldo Nova enlisted the help of his pal Jon Bon Jovi to both launch and re-launch his music career. The remainder of Aldo's albums did not do as well, yet he maintained some presence in the music industry over the years, pairing up with Jon Bon Jovi on a few projects and even writing songs for Celine Dion and Clay Aiken (yes, no kidding).
