Scarlet Rayne was a Christian metal band that formed in 1987 in Milwaukee. The band had a large following in the Wisconsin area, and in 1990, they independently released the album Theater Humanitarian. The band's vocalist, Dan Johnston, had an intense Geoff Tate (Queensryche) like voice, which made the group an easy in to warm up for other Christian metal bands like Barren Cross, Whitecross, Sacred Warrior, and Believer.
Shortly after the release of their first album, Scarlet Rayne changed their name to SolScape and began working on a new album. Due to issues within the band and the band's management, this material was never released. In 2008, Theater Humanitarian was re-released with four new songs from the SolScape album that never saw the light. The Scarlet Rayne Discography is as follows:
