Sweet Secrets
The Sweet Secrets dolls, created by Galoob in 1984, where little plastic figures, like jewelry and makeup, that would transform into other girlie objects like animals, girls with hair, and even playsets when opened up. The playsets included a jewelry box that would transform into a dollhouse, a phone that would transform into a baby’s nursery, a comb that transformed into a bed, and a photo that transformed into a swimming pool. Some of the charms included Shimmer, Dazzle, Starshine, Cat Trina, Starburst, Starshine, Star Beam, Glitter Miss, and Glitter Kitty. In 2007, a company called Play Along Toys re-released Sweet Secrets, but as tiny dolls instead of charms.
