Shy Hair Metal Band

Shy was a British metal band that started out in 1980 as a band called Trojan.  They released their first album, Once Bitten...Twice..., on a minor label in 1983.  Reviews were favorable, and soon RCA Records picked them up for their 1985 release (Brave the Storm).  The band toured with Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Gary Moore, UFO, and even Meat Loaf in support for Brave the Storm.  It was the band's 1987 album, Excess All Areas, that featured their most successful song:  "Break Down the Walls", which was written by Don Dokken.

Although Shy switched vocalist on some albums, their music was relatively consistent over the years (they never “grungified” themselves).  At the time of this writing, their latest album was a self-titled album released in 2011.  We own nearly every album Shy has ever produced and consider them to be very underrated.  At the time of this writing, the Shy Discography was as follows:
