Liaison was a Christian AOR rock band formed by brothers Larry and Tim Melby in North Dakota in the late 1980’s.  The brother’s landed a record deal with Frontline Records, and their debut album (self-titled) was released in 1989.  Some of you may remember the hit song “Kick It Down” from this album.

Liaison’s second album, Urgency (1991), also did fairly well.  Some of you may remember the hit title track from this album, as well as the song “My God is a Rock” from their 1992 release (Hard Hitter).  Some of their songs are harder than others, so it was difficult to decide whether or not to put them in the metal section or the rock section of this site.  The band’s sound is well-polished.  If you like Petra, then you will like Liaison.  The Liaison Discography is as follows:
