Orion the Hunter Band

Orion the Hunter was a short-lived rock offshoot in the early 1980’s of some members of the band Boston (namely guitarist Barry Goudreau).  Initially, the band called themselves Orion, but a dispute with Orion Pictures caused them to add “the Hunter” on the end.  The band released their own and only album in 1984 (self-titled).  Some of you may remember that great song “So You Ran”, which peaked at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the top 10 on the rock charts. 

In the early 1990’s, Orion the Hunter vocalist Fran Cosmo was tapped to be the main vocalist for Boston, and fans of Boston will recognize his voice on the Walk On and Corporate America albums.  If you are a fan of AOR rock, and bands like Journey and Boston, then you will like Orion the Hunter.  The Orion the Hunter Discography is as follows:
