Stevie Wonder Singer

Steveland Hardaway Morris, aka Stevie Wonder, was born in Michigan.  He lost his sight shortly after birth.  He grew up in a musical family, and by 1961, at just 11 years of age, he had the interest of Motown.  Wonder had his first number one hit at 12 years of age, a song called "Fingertips (Pt 2)".  He was known as Little Stevie Wonder.  As he got older, it made sense to drop "Little".

Stevie Wonder had an illustrious career in the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, and beyond.  We focus mainly on his 70's and 80's work.  Some 70's hits we highlight include "Signed Sealed and Delivered", "Heaven Help Us All", "We Can Work It Out", "If You Really Love Me", "Superstition", "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", "Higher Ground", "Living for the City", "You Haven't Done Nothing", "Boogie on Reggae Woman", "Sir Duke", and "Send One Your Love".

Stevie Wonder had an even more amazing career in the 1980's.  There were a number of notable hits, such as "Master Blaster (Jammin')", "I Ain't Gonna Stand for It", "That Girl", "Ebony and Ivory" with Paul McCartney, "Do I Do", "I Just Called to Say I Love You", "Love Light in Flight", "Part-Time Lover", "That's What Friends Are For", "Go Home", "Overjoyed", and "Skeletons".

Post 80's, Stevie Wonder continued to produce, but at a much slower level.  Although he was never able to re-capture his earlier glory, he continued to be very active well into the 2010's, but on stage and in studio.  New studio releases were planned for 2014.  The 1970's and 1980's Stevie Wonder Discography is as follows:
