Steven Bruce Schenier (aka Steve Stevens) may be better known for his work as guitarist for Billy Idol, Robert Palmer, Michael Jackson, Vince Neil, and the Top Gun movie Anthem, but he also had a solo effort in the late 80's and 90's. He called his band the "Atomic Playboys". Their first solo release, Atomic Playboys, was released in 1989 on the Warner Brothers label. The album reached 119 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, which wasn't great, but wasn't anything to laugh at either. The album is a relatively eclectic mix of hard rock, metal, ballads, and even some blues.

Steve Stevens continues to be a much sought after session guitarist and song writer. In 1998, Stevens reunited with Billy Idol to release the album Devil's Playground (2005). At the time of this writing in 2016, Stevens was still active with Idol as far as we knew. The Steve Stevens Discography is as follows:
