Is there really anything cool about associating yourself with the rear end of a big cat. Tigertailz, a metal band from Cardiff, Wales, gladly rode the glam metal wave as they released their first album, Young and Crazy, in 1987. Some of you may remember the song "Livin' Without You" from that album. Due to dissention in the band, vocalist Steevi Jaimz was fired, and Kim Hooker was hired for Tigertailz' 1990 release, Bezerk, which charted in the Top 40 in the UK. Many of you will remember the songs "Love Bomb Baby", "Noise Level Critical" and "Heaven" from that album. The band actually even went so far as to re-release their 1987 single, "Livin' Without You", with Hooker on vocals.

In the 1990's, Tigertailz released a could of albums prior to their breakup, including Banzai! in 1991. After a 1995 release, the band broke up and did not re-surface again until and several years later. Their 2003 release,Original Sin, is actually a compilation of songs written prior to their 1987 debut. By 2006, Berzerk 2.0 was released and the band went on a mega European tour with Whitesnake and Twisted Sister. At the time of this writing, the last active year for the band was 2010, with no clear future with Hooker on vocals. The current Tigertailz Discography is as follows:
