Power Drive
Power Drive was a monster truck arcade game released by Bally Midway in 1987. The game allowed for up to three players at a time, and feature different modes, such as speed rallies, car crushes, jumping, and tractor pulls. Players could choose different trucks, like Daddy’s Girl, Captain Crush, and Sherif Perry. The player would hit the tire buttons quickly to gain speed or shift from 2 to 4 wheel drive, and use the wheelie lever to help navigate over obstacles. Winners of races would earn money to pay for subsequent entrance fees.
If the player came in first place, they could continue to play indefinitely. Placing in any other position meant the game was over, however unlimited continues were allowed as long as grandma sent you off with a roll of quarters.
